Our History
Integrated Imaging, Inc. began in Appleton,
Wisconsin in 1950 as Wisconsin Microfilm Service, Inc. The company founder,
Walter Manteuffel saw a distinct need for micrographic sales and services
in the Fox Valley and Central Wisconsin area. The initial focus of the business
was to provide quality document management and microfilming services to
the businesses in this market area.
Due to a demand for more sophisticated solutions from a rapidly growing
customer base, the Company has developed business relationships with Canon
USA, Stellent, Fuji, ScanFile and Captovation. In response to its success
with these product lines, these organizations helped extend the marketing
area of the Company to include all of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula
of Michigan. Currently, Integrated Imaging, Inc. maintains a major market
share in document management solutions and services utilized in this region
and maintains a list numbering in the hundreds of active customers. This
market dominance has added stability to the Company and its ability to invest
in new technology.
In 1990, Canon USA introduced a desktop electronic filing system. It was
a self contained standalone document management system that was a revolutionary
product at the time with many US patents. It literally introduced "imaging"
to over 7,000 businesses in its market cycle. Many of these businesses have
now moved on to network based imaging systems, allowing a continuing payback
for the investment in the earlier Canon system.
In 1991, with the advent of new digital document management technologies
the Company changed its name to Integrated Imaging, Inc. This decision was
based on the Company’s desire to expand its expertise in film based to digital
based document management systems and services.
Today's computer technology has virtually eliminated the problems that were
associated with throughput speeds of early network based imaging systems.
Integrated Imaging, Inc. has developed relationships with industry leading
imaging software and hardware providers to provide our customers with the
best possible tools to implement efficiencies within their organizations.
Additionally, it has brought together an outstanding team of technical professionals
to complement and enhance its product offerings with unmatched service and
support.
Integrated Imaging, Inc. now enjoys a reputation as a leader in Document
Management Technology in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan with application expertise
that extends to other major industry centers. Integrated Imaging, Inc. is
