As the document management needs of businesses change, it pays to implement
flexible, scalable solutions. Integrated Imaging can help your business
transition from a microfilm imaging system to a digitally-based system with
minimum disruption and significant return on investment.
Integrated Imaging can provides microfilm, microfiche and aperture card
scanning to create a digital library with all of the advantages of storing
documents electronically — including easy retrieval, simple file sharing
and low-cost storage. The scanned images can then be indexed and treated
in the same way as scanned paper, with images and retrieval software delivered
on a CD, or as raw images to be imported into another document management
system.
Sophisticated scanning equipment can convert all microfilm types and
can produce digital images from microfilm in many formats, including PDF,
JPG, TIFF and GIF.
Microfilm & Microfiche Conversion
Many companies and organizations have archived data on Microfilm and
Microfiche over many decades.
Much of this information is of value today and therefore conversion to
new electronic formats is of a commercial advantage.
We have over 20 years experience in extracting all forms of data from
Microfilm/Microfiche both as a full replica of the original document,
selective text or database fields.

Some of our major projects to-date are from the Financial, Personnel,
Pension and Medical sectors.
Integrated Imaging Film to Digital Conversion Service helps customers
retrieve documents more quickly from film archives by converting and indexing
them in digital platforms. Because digital documents can be accessed from
multiple locations, customers will no longer need to rely on the original
source document and can continue to realize the benefits of film for long
term archiving. This will help customers preserve and protect original documents,
reduce overall document retrieval costs, and accommodate document requests
more efficiently. Integrated Imaging can convert document images from 16
mm and 35 mm microfilm, fiche, jackets, and aperture cards, then index the
images to customer specifications, and return them to the customer in the
specified format (e.g., CD-ROM or DVD).

Microfilm & Microfiche Scanning
Companies and organizations not only require conversion of
Microfilm/Microfiche into electronic text but also to other digitized
formats such as PDF and Scanned image (tiff, jpeg).
Converting the Microfilm/Microfiche to image gives the flexibility to
utilize the images across networks in a way which standard Microfilm and
Microfiche archives cannot.
Scanning:
We can convert all types of Microfilm and Microfiche to image.
Indexing:
To add further value to the data, once the Microfilm or Microfiche has
been scanned we can index the data to create a searchable index
providing fast and efficient search criteria to retrieve the original
document.
Output:
In addition to standard image formats, we can also output to PDF, which
is a popular way of distributing data across multi-platform networks.
We can create both image only PDF as well as hidden searchable text PDF
files adding further flexibility to the original archive.
